With such an interesting background and development team, The Lost Symbol promises to be an engaging and fun watch. Grazer and Howard were also the minds behind the Robert Langdon movie series, which means that you can expect a similar style of storytelling and narrative. The Lost Symbol is developed by Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie, and directed by Dan Trachtenberg who also serve as showrunners and executive producers respectively, along with Dan Brown, Brian Grazer, and Ron Howard. Apart from Ashley Zukerman, the adventure-mystery series also stars Valore Curry, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzales, Eddie Izzard, Beau Knapp, Raoul Bhaneja, Sammi Rotibi, and Keenan Jolliff, among others.

Zukerman’s previous credits include Succession, the Fear Street trilogy, Designated Survivor, and A Teacher. And he’s got some big shoes to fill considering how popular Tom Hanks has been in the role. After audiences flocked to the first Robert Langdon story, the studio greenlit its predecessor, and Angels did well at the box office, as well.The Lost Symbol stars Ashley Zukerman as a young Robert Langdon. In the book sense, Angels came before Da Vinci, but Ron Howard and Sony chose to start with Da Vinci because that novel was a global sensation. These stories have been told out of order before. So it sounds like, even in Inferno is a huge hit, the idea of Tom Hanks and Ron Howard going back to adapt The Lost Symbol is a non-starter, because the plot and themes are too similar to what the duo did in The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. The good news is contractually, we don't have to. We have no idea if it's going to come down the pike - if we're going to want to jump on it or not. But, Dan Brown, who is very secretive, is working on another one.

We had to say that we don't quite think there is something to truly hang on. and the question of the Masons was very reminiscent of the theoretical dilemmas of both The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. That was interesting because we actually worked on for a while to see if there was something, and at the end of the day, Washington, D.C.
